Justin Bieber Uses Jailbroken iPhone

I don’t usually post stuff like this, but it was too good to pass up. Apparently Justin Bieber uses a Jailbroken iphone.

As evidenced in one of his tweets, Justin Bieber uses a jailbreak Twitter extension called ‘qTweeter’. With over 11 million followers, I am sure Bieber is familiar with the best Twitter apps out there.

There is really nothing else to say about this except,  I hope Justin reads http://www.idownloadblog.com/ for all his Jailbreaking needs.

Viber, free calls and texting internationally.

Viber is one of the best apps on the iPhone for making free calls and texting. I can’t say enough about this app because it works for international calls and texting too. Since getting this app it’s saved me hundreds of pounds because I can now call anywhere in the world to anyone who has Viber down loaded in their phone.

The reception and connection on calls is great and texting is very reliable too. Works great outside when you are on the go. Like the WhatsApp Mesenger I mentioned yesterday there is no log in or log out or pins as its all done through your phone book.

Once you have installed Viber it will show you automatically who else in your phonebook has Viber and it will send them a notification informing them that you are now a member of Viber. Then all calls to other users and texting is free no matter where they are in the world.

As with all apps there are always a few glitches and this one has got some but nothing that will seriously hinder you using it and enjoying its free benefits.

  • Connection can be slow at times when making a call or answering, just need to wait slightly for it to connect.
  • Best reception is  when one if you is connected to the wifi

The app is free so what you waiting for?

Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad. Requires iOS 3.1 or later

WhatsApp Mesenger iPhone 4

As the iphone 5 is soon to be launched speculation is rife what new features it will have. Up till now no one knows. How can you improve an already amazing phone that out markets the rest? Time will of course tell.

But as we all know what makes these smart phones so smart is the applications, because without them there would be no real special attraction would there? So one thing is for sure that when the iPhone 5 does grace us with it’s much awaited presence it will be enhanced and no doubt there will be more apps  just to suit the iPhone 5.  I touched on the Apps briefly in my previous post and what I want to do is take a closer look at them and perhaps in more detail.  So over the coming days I will be posting regular reviews on the most popular apps and the not so popular. The most bought apps and the best free apps too. I think it will be interesting for all users of the iPhones and a great guide to those of you who are thinking of getting one.

There are thousands (350,000) of apps to chose from and something for everyone. No matter what age or profession you are in, there is something in there for you.

The apps are mostly split in to categories from which you can enter and browse or you can simply search on the search engine in the app store. Buying couldn’t be easier either, because your details are already set up, you make your choice, tap and download. It’s that simple!

There are so many categories to choose from that it would be impossible not to find something to suit you and your needs. Every lifestyle is catered for. Lets take a look at the categories.

  • Games
  • Entertainment
  • Utilities
  • Social networking
  • Music
  • Productivity
  • Lifestyle
  • Reference
  • Travel
  • Navigation
  • Health & fitness
  • News
  • Photography
  • Finance
  • Business
  • Weather
  • Books
  • Medical

On my iPhone it shows me the most popular apps in each category so I will be  taking a closer look at some of them.

Social Networking is a must these days, its something that has just become part of life and I don’t think there are many people out there that haven’t used one of the services.

iPhone offers most of them and the most popular ones are Facebook, WhatsApp Messenger, Yahoo, MSN and plenty more.

WhatsApp Messenger is the top most grossing  bought app at the moment at the cost of £0.59. Now I’ve used this app a lot and I love it, its just like msn but even better. The other day my sister abroad wanted to see pics of my new car. To send her the pictures through my normal service provider would have cost me but on this app I was able to send her as many as I wanted free of charge.
