Al Qaeda and Taliban begin revenge attacks for Osama Bin Laden.

Two Taliban members have blown themselves up killing 80 people in pakistan, at a paramilitary training centre in first major retaliation for the killing of Osama bin Laden.

The blasts in Pakistan’s north-west came even as the country faces international suspicion that elements within its security forces may have been harbouring bin Laden, who was killed in a raid in Abbottabad, about a three hours’ drive from the scene of the bombing.

“We have done this to avenge the Abbottabad incident,” Ahsanullah Ahsan, a spokesman for the Pakistani Taliban, told the Associated Press in a phone call. He warned that the group was also planning attacks on Americans living inside Pakistan.

At least 80 people were killed, 66 of them recruits, and around 120 people were wounded, said police officer Liaqat Ali Khan.

So the revenge attacks have started and we were expecting this would happen. How far are they prepared to go on this boggles my mind and I can’t help wondering when this will be over and if it will ever be over. How many more innocent people have to die? How many families will have to be ripped apart before anything will ever be gained.? Can anything ever be gained from these terrible inhuman acts?

Looking back over the past 10 years nothing has been gained and nothing has been solved, it’s like life on a carousel. There’s killings, people die and someone swears revenge and it happens all over again. It’s a vicious circle that shows no means of stopping and it’s innocent people that are left to suffer.
